At MagTek Europe we are committed to safeguarding your privacy . Please read the following policy to understand how we use your personal data.

MagTek Europe processes your personal information to meet our legal, statutory and contractual obligations and to provide you with our products and services. We will never collect any unnecessary personal data from you and do not process your information in any way, other than as specified in this notice.

What personal data do we process?

In general, you can visit MagTek Europe on the Internet without telling us who you are or giving any personal information about yourself. However, when you subscribe to our newsletter, enquire about, order, evaluate or start using our products or services; you may be required to provide personal data such as your name, company position, address, telephone number, mobile number, fax number, email address, payment card details and bank details.

As there is CCTV at our premises, if you visit your image and vehicle registration may be recorded. CCTV data is constantly overwritten so will be kept for a maximum of 3 months unless it is needed for the investigation of an incident/crime at the company's premises or on the business park, in which case it will be kept until it is no longer needed.

MagTek Europe takes your privacy very seriously and will never disclose, share or sell your data without your consent; other than for the purposes specified in this notice or where there is a legal requirement.

MagTek Europe uses several third-parties to provide services and business functions. However, all processors acting on our behalf only process your data in accordance with instructions from us and comply fully with this privacy notice, the data protection laws and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

We only retain your data for as long as is necessary and for the purposes specified in this notice. The purposes and reasons for processing personal data are detailed below but will depend on the nature of your business relationship with us.

As necessary to perform our contract with you for the relevant service:

  • To ascertain the suitability for a contract to provide a product/service;
  • To ensure that orders are completed and can be fulfilled as expected for the course of a contract;
  • To manage and perform that contract;
  • To trace your whereabouts to contact you about the contract we provide you with and in recovering debt.

As necessary for our own legitimate interests or those of other persons and organisations:

  • For good governance, accounting, managing, and auditing our business operations;
  • To monitor emails and other communications;
  • To send you marketing information where we have assessed that it is beneficial to you as a customer and in our interests. Such communications will be non-intrusive, you can opt out of receiving them if you wish;

  • For the prevention, detection and investigation of fraud.

  • To send you marketing information where we have asked for your consent to do so.

You are free to withdraw your consent at any time.

We may also use your personal data to carry out research that will enable us to better understand our users' demographics, interests, and behaviour. This research is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis, without identifying any user individually.

MagTek Europe Email Communications

MagTek Europe adheres to the following policy in relation to deployment of MagTek Europe email communications:

All emails sent to you by MagTek Europe will clearly identify MagTek Europe or the applicable division of MagTek Europe as the sender.

The subject line of any email sent by MagTek Europe will always accurately describe the subject matter of the email.

All newsletter marketing emails sent to you by MagTek Europe will include an option to unsubscribe from future email messages.

You may unsubscribe from ALL MagTek Europe mailing lists.

Any third-party partners will be required to comply with legislative requirements on unsolicited emails and the use of data.

MagTek Europe sends emails to customers, partners and prospects from a number of different domains in both plain text and HTML email formats. Emails are sent using sender email addresses as follows:

If you receive an email which claims to come from MagTek Europe which does not use these domains, or if you are suspicious that an email may not be an approved MagTek Europe email communication, then please send a copy of the email to webmaster@magtekeurope.com so we can investigate.

Job Applicants

If you are making a job application or inquiry, you may provide us with a copy of your CV or other relevant information. We may use this information throughout MagTek Europe for the purpose of considering your application or inquiry. Except when you explicitly request otherwise, we may keep this information on file for future reference for one year.

Legitimate Interests

As noted in the 'How We Use Your Personal Data' section of this notice, we occasionally process your personal information under the legitimate interests' legal basis. Where this is the case, we have weighed your interests and any risk posed to you against our own and that such interests are proportionate and appropriate.

With whom might we share your personal data?

MagTek Europe provide products and services from many partners with global operations. When you give us personal data, that data may be used, processed or stored anywhere in the world, including countries outside the EEA.

How long do we keep your information?
