Open Chassis Insert Reader - Low-Profile - Flexible Interface.

Space saving insert readers - MagTek Half Card insert readers take up very little panel space and require much less panel depth than full length insert card readers.

They are popular for magnetic stripe reading in custom and non-financial applications such as kiosks, gaming and access.

The open chassis design eliminates blocking of card slot with coins and debris and the isolated PCB separates electronics from debris and liquids.

Magnetic stripe can be read during insertion and removal of card.
A rear sensor is used to indicate card present.

Optional: Always-on internal LED's for slot illumination in low light environments.
