MagTek rails take advantage of the IntelliHead product line which incorporates the tiny Delta ASIC along with an equally miniature microprocessor directly into the three-track magnetic head avoiding the need for external electronics.
if you require encryption then you can use the MagneSafe™ IntelliHead, MagTek's secure magnetic read head which encrypts data before it leaves the head.
