IPAD EMV is a multifunction device with integrated PIN-entry, a secure card reader, contact and contactless smart card reader. This allows financial institutions and retailers to use one device for a variety of card technologies.

Enhance security and exceed PCI requirements with the IPAD EMV by immediately encrypting data at the point of swipe so personal information is never 'in the clear' and using MagTek's advanced MagneSafe Security Architecture, ATM, debit, credit and gift cards can be authenticated using MagnePrint card authentication, which can be used to render counterfeit or cloned cards useless. IPAD EMV's data encryption scheme uses industry standard Triple DES giving you the flexibility to manage decryption services yourself or via an outsourcing service, without the risk imposed by unproven, proprietary encryption algorithms.

For easier deployment key injection can be handled at the factory or via secure, remote key injection eliminating the need to return the unit in the event a new key is required.
